Summer Plans For June

Hey guys, and gals, mostly gals.
 I know it has been a while since we have chatted. So I just wanted totell you my Summer plans for June. Last week I did a Glee club, to do something different. Then this week I went to volleyball camp to practice. Then on Saturday I have a horse show. Then on June 22 I have my Birthday, which I will post later on about what I got and what I did. Then the last week of June I go to girl scout camp. That's it for June. Comment below on how your Summers been so far.
Now back to eating my pop tarts. :)

Spring Break!!!!!

Hey everyone, so has your spring break been so far. I know I've had a busy one. Monday I had volleyball practice and archery practice. Tuesday I had horseback riding and girl scouts. Wednesday was my first day off, so my mom took me to Wilmington. Today I had a volleyball game, p.s. my team won. Go Lightning!!!! Tomorrow I'm going to Charleston.Saturday I will be practicing my violin. Sunday I will be horseback riding again. So yep, that's my week. Tell me about your spring break. P.s. Cyberbully the movie

I know it is a little late, but I just watched Cyberbully, and I thought that I should sort of try and open a chat. If you ever feel hurt or like you are lonely, please come talk to me. The Hunger Games Movie

Hey guys and gals, we haven't spoken in a long time, but that's ok now, let's talk Hunger Games.I love the movie and I thought it was great. Some people I have heard thought that it was not that good. I don't see it personally. I love the movie and the books are my favorite. To me I think this production was the greatest book to movie adaption in the history of moviemaking. So tell me your thoughts on the movie. P.S. TEAM PEETA!!!!!!! -Roxy

Thoughts on Fanfiction

Ok guys and gals, mostly gals, I have sort of gotten into fanfiction. I know some people love fanfiction and other despise it. I personally only care if it is going to spoil a series on m or not. So I  know this is a short post but I'm wondering what you guys and gals think of fanfiction.

Project A

Hey guys, I'm thinking of making a book, tell me what you think.

   

                                                 Introduction

    I might live in a house of twenty, but I always am the one to stand out. I’m the third born and my name is Roxy. My older sister and brother are actors in the Twilight movies as Alice and Emmet. I, however go to a school where you have to be able to act, dance or sing well. I came do all three especially singing since I can imitate any female singer I would like. I also partially own mix 97.7 the radio station. I sing and dance with my friends who are just like me, at parties and even at concerts of our own.

    I’m thirteen years old with smooth brown hair and dark brown eyes, and a hair band I always love to wear. I’m always energetic for some strange reason. I keep myself occupied by riding and taking care of my horse Sammy or jumping on the trampoline with my friends. When it is time to cool down my mom has us all of us read or take a nap. I usually read my two favorite book series, Canterwood Crest and Maximum Ride.  This year is very special though, that is because my friend Michael and his brother Nate, also Lindsey a second grader who I’m almost sisters with and I are going to audition for the Maximum Ride movies.

     I’ve been practicing my part for my audition, the one and only, Max. I am practicing by being in school plays like Annie, and Seussical the Musical, and even Lion King. Tomorrow also happens to be my birthday.  I’m very excited because my birthday party is also a good luck party. My school will even sing me a happy birthday song.

     When I got to school everyone gathered in the gym and sang happy birthday like I suspected. After school it was my last night with my family before Michael, Nate, Lindsey, and I left for our auditions in California. That night I was out like a light and the next morning I was bouncing around like a spring. I know today was the day the four of us were waiting for. All four of us spilled out of the car when we reached the studio. Nate and Lindsey were up first, we had our fingers crossed. When the parts of Angel and Gassy were called they both made it. A lot of weight came off my chest. Next was Michael’s turn as Iggy. He also got his name called along with a girl named Natalie who got the part as Nudge. Next up were the auditions for Max and Fang.  I ran into the room as they just called me up. Everything went perfectly, I said every word with the same emotions and tone as Max, and I knew that the spot would be mine. When the people for the last opened spots I heard my name and when I saw the person being Fang I knew he was the one for me.

     All of the cast and the director met at the set where I got to know the boy named Eric; I swear, he is the guy of my dreams. He has black hair chocolate brown eyes. He is the sweetest guy I ever met.     

So tell me your thoughts on it, it is just a start.

At Lunch

I think I might be the only one noticing this, but at lunch my friends and I are always the only ones laughing the whole time. Then again, that is not always a bad thing, I mean at least we are enjoying the only time we can talk to each other without risking a lunch detention.

The Hunger Games

Hey guys, I that most of you now what the Hunger Games is, if not then the next paragraph is for you.I got the summary from Wiki.

The Hunger Games takes place after the destruction of North America, in a nation known as Panem. Panem consists of a wealthy Capitol and twelve surrounding, poorer districts. District 12, where the book begins, is located in the coal-rich region that was formerly Appalachia.^[8]
As punishment for a previous rebellion against the Capitol in which a 13th district was destroyed, one boy and one girl between the ages of 12 and 18 from each district are selected by annual lottery to participate in the Hunger Games, a televised event in which the participants (or "tributes") must fight to the death in a dangerous outdoor arena controlled by the Capitol, until only one remains. The story follows 16-year-old Katniss Everdeen, a girl from District 12 who volunteers for the 74th annual Hunger Games in place of her younger sister, Primrose. Also selected from District 12 is Peeta Mellark, a baker's son whom Katniss knows from school, who once gave her bread when her family was starving.
Katniss and Peeta are taken to the Capitol where their drunken mentor, Haymitch Abernathy, victor of the 50th Hunger Games, instructs them to watch and learn the talents of the other tributes. They are then publicly displayed to the Capitol audience in a televised session with interviewer Caesar Flickerman. During this time, Peeta reveals on-air his long-time unrequited love for Katniss. Katniss believes this to be a ploy to gain audience support for the Games, which can be crucial for survival, as audience members are encouraged to send gifts like food, medicine, and tools to favored tributes during the Games. The Games begin with 11 of the 24 tributes dying in the first day, while Katniss relies on her well-practiced hunting and outdoor skills to survive. As the games continue, the tribute death toll increases. A few days later, Katniss develops an alliance with Rue, a 12-year-old girl from the agricultural District 11 who reminds Katniss of her sister Prim. The alliance is short-lived: Rue is killed by another tribute, whom Katniss shoots through the neck with an arrow before comforting Rue as she dies. At Rue's request Katniss sings to her, then spreads flowers over her body as a sign of respect--and of disgust towards the Capitol.
Supposedly due to Katniss and Peeta's beloved image in the minds of the audience as "star-crossed lovers", a rule change is announced midway through the Games, stating that two tributes from the same district can win the Hunger Games as a pair. Upon hearing this, Katniss searches for Peeta and eventually finds him wounded. As she nurses him back to health, she acts the part of a young girl falling in love to gain more favor with the audience and, consequently, gifts from her sponsors. When the couple are finally the last two tributes, the Gamemakers reverse the rule change in an attempt to force them into a dramatic finale, where one must kill the other to win. Katniss, in the hopes that the Gamemakers would rather have two victors than none, retrieves highly poisonous berries known as "nightlock" from her pouch and offers some to Peeta. Upon realizing that Katniss and Peeta intend to commit suicide, the Gamemakers announce that both will be the victors of the 74th Hunger Games.
Although she survives the ordeal in the arena and is treated to a hero's welcome in the Capitol, Katniss is warned by Haymitch that she has now become a political target after defying her society's authoritarian leaders so publicly. Afterwards, Peeta is heartbroken when he learns that Katniss' actions in the arena were part of a calculated ploy to earn sympathy from the audience. However, Katniss is unsure of her own feelings, and realizes that she is dreading the moment when she and Peeta will go their separate ways.

Welcome to my Blog

Hi guys, I would just like to say that this is my very first blog. So I am very sorry if I start to ramble on about something. On this blog I will be doing things to try to update you on things and to see your thoughts and oppinions on things. I will mostly focus on things like books and movies. Another thing I may talk about is just random thoughts and ideas on a good story plot. A great thing I would like you all to do is also to just give me ideas on different books you think I might like to read. By the way I'm in middle school at the moment, but my parents let me read anything I would like. So keep that in mind when you give me ideas.
About Me: I'm a middle school student who has a great sense in good books to read. I spend most of my time on the computer or on my iPod when I am at home. My favorite book series is the Hunger Games And the Nightshade series.I am mostly into teen fiction books. I am also into a lot of sports such as, volleyball, swimming, horseback riding, archery,ect. I am also into anime, but I can't draw. My favorite youtuber would have to be CassJayTuck, because she is funny, interesting and always has something useful to say. My favorite tv show would have to be Shake It Up, this is only because I also love to dance and watch people dance. My friends are on the weird side, but in a good way, they are all original in their own personal way.
Question: I was hoping you guys could give me any ideas on what I should put on my blog, and what you thought about this post. Thanks for your time and sorry about the rant. Now I have to go make toast:D
